Post Surgical Experience – The Night
Not an awe inspiring experience but not that bad afterall, the pain is still bearable. (off coz with the help on ponstan)
After the numbness subsided, there’s where the real pain comes. Took a nap and woke-up with a slow swollen on the right cheek which makes it pretty warmed-up on the inside as well as the outside. Time for dinner but not that interesting after all.

Pathetic meal - Porridge and plain ice-water
Oh not to forget the soya sauce, it is actually chicken porridge but too painful to chew anything solid and do not want to hurt any wound. The only thing i can do or have mood to do was just watch TV, rest and sleep; and take medication.

Soy sauce and pepper from Kuching
Not to forget my dose of medication, i can swallow them better now.

Doze of medication 3 times a day!
Mostly to be completed, ponstan was the first to complete haha, though it was not to be completed
Had some time left and had want to discover more about my wisdom tooth extracted….hehehe

Packed in a Plastic bag
My bits and pieces of the right wisdom tooth is returned back to me after the surgery, with my request to the dentist that i want it
So that I could check it out in detail what the 1 hour surgery was all about. (photos you see below may be disturbing for those weak hearted)

Tooth jigsaw puzzle!
I still remember which was the last piece taken out and how relieve i was after hearing from the dentist that the last piece is OUT! The above was the good side, the bad side of the tooth is below.

The not so nice side
There were some plaques which is in black and i did not know they existed, because its hidden so deep inside you can’t really see them and what condition were they in, as the top of the tooth was pressing against the back of the big tooth in front of it.

The Root!
I left my mouth’s x-ray at the dentist else i could have shown you, how near my wisdom tooth was to my jaw bone. (Phew! Luckily it was not in any way joint!!!)

The other side of the root
The tissues still stuck at the root of the tooth still looks very fresh although it is almost 10 hours after the surgery, but it started to smell a little. (strange funky, stinky, fishy smell)

Inside the root
Looks like a mini crab’s claw, just that this is without flesh
Didn’t there was a little gap and hollow between the root and the teeth itself.

The piece which i felt the pressue
This is the piece which i felt during the surgery, due to some tissue which was not injected with sufficient local anaesthetic. It was not painful, but the feeling is really weird, is like a nail knock into a wood and you use the opposite side of the hammer to pull the nail out.

My gums....
Yea, some of the gum tissues comes out together, that’s how hard your gums holds on to your teeth.

It stays fresh for up to 24-36-48 hours?

Hanging onto the roots tissue
Hehe, saw the tissue at the end, so why not hold on to it and take a photo?
Luckily my busy dog didn’t jump up and eat it. She was such a busy body when i was preparing some ice-cubes for cool down my cheek to quicken the healing.
