My Diet Plan

March 30, 2009 - 1:30 pm 2 Comments

Simple but not sure how effective :)

I shall eat less on days not going to gym (excluding weekends and holidays :P )

Breakfast: Cereal with Fresh Milk

Lunch: Kip Sandwich (Chicken Ham sandwich with Dutch cheese) + 7-up Revive

Self-made sandwich

Self-made sandwich

Tea: Fruits – 2 Pink Guavas

Dinner: 1/4 of Roasted Duck with spaghetti bolognese, a cuppa of Sunkist orange and a munch of tandoori chicken with a slice of cucumber & few sips of Teh O’ Ais Limau (mamak style of Ice-Lemon Tea)

I know its not that healthy anyway, i’ll add-in some vege and tomatoes next time around to make it a more complete meal. I like this once in awhile, probably once or twice a week is fine, but not everyday. As Malaysian, I Love a Variety of food ;)

Easily Tired

March 30, 2009 - 12:14 am No Comments

This has been happening quite frequently after i had my diarrhea 2 weeks back, easily tired and when i was on MC the other day, i slept so much that it sounds scary! other than waking up to eat, and washup i slept almost the wholeday! And then I am still tired!

Ok so this week i head back to gym, went there twice this week, felt really good the next day and the weekends i am all tired again! What’s my problem? Having a little flu now after the dustiness at Carrefour this afternoon…and the cold-hot, cold-super hot weather! So the Earth Hour, is just mere awareness, not much help or probably “0%” help! haha…

I have irregular meal time, irregular sleeping time (changes during the 5 weekdays and the 2 days during weekend) Guess age is catching up, so my body can’t take it anymore?

Starting tomorrow, maybe I should really listen to what my BFF said the other day after gym, have regular intakes of supplements, 1 EPO, 1 Multi vites, and 1 Vit C whenever necessary :) Ok, gotta head to bed!

Best Bargains

March 29, 2009 - 9:30 pm No Comments

This is my first experience in my lifetime so far with regards to the economy slow-down, though i heard about it during recessions 1998. Which was 11 years ago, barely know anything about economy and finances since all are taken care off by my wonderful amazing mom ;)

Well so far, i’ve been taking advantages of good bargains this 2009 recession that had not “badly” hit Malaysia yet, but still be very conscious of what you buy and buy only when you think necessary and it is a good bargain. Me and my bf have made a conclusion never to buy things when there is no discount! I’ll tell you why when you read further below.

As we were in 1U and headed to Aussino sales, and look at the “Sino” collection of cotton sateen which cost RM399 and I thought it was after discount but guess what? It has 70% discount and was unable to find the design we liked with the correct size fitting.

So the magic is to “Ask and you shall receive!”, the shop assistant was helpful as we asked him if there is any left for Queen size. He checked and there is none but he took the initiative to let us know there is at Ikano Power Center. So we headed there at the nick of time after our movie, was thinking, should we buy the Quilt cover set only or the fitted sheet as well? Here we go we bought 2 sets to prepare for our new house :) Normal price cost a total of RM700 and now with 70% discount, i’ll leave you to do the math! Happy us, specially Jack, we had this “Tai-nya” Best Bargain! (We saw these collections before and like it very much but it is abit pricey “CAN YOU IMAGINE IF WE WOULD HAVE BOUGHT PREVIOUSLY?” would really be mad and hitting our chest looking at the discounts they are having now, can buy up to 3 sets man and still there’s money in return for a meal!)

As we walk around malls these days, there tend to be less people and parking are much easier to find, and ALL shops, let me repeat ALL shops are having Sales, Discounts, Promotions! All are fighting for sales, so being a consumer, do spend our money wisely and remember to safe some for bad times too! (which i sense will be soon)

Earth Hour – 60minutes 28th March 2009

March 29, 2009 - 1:42 pm No Comments

Went for movie last night and the announcement of “non-essential” lights will be turned off during earth hour in 1U was just the lights outside the building, inside the building it was all bright and shiny =) So i can’t help but disagree with the announcer saying “all non-essential” lights will be off! I was like expecting, all cosy light-up within the building, only those “Essential” lights will be on! :)

Air-cond was full blast, super cold in the cinema and when we came out 8.45pm i was expecting it to be pitch black, but with disappointment it was not :S Anyway was not a good day for me as i was having nausea watching the movie “12 rounds” in the cinema. My head was spinning for 12 rounds in the cinema! haha…at one-point nearly wanted to vomit i close my eyes and rested on Jack’s shoulder and nearly fell asleep, i believe its much better than vomiting, though vomiting it all out would be a better relieve :) The movie was all shaky, this is not the first time i’m experiencing this. The first was the movie Miss Congeniality by Sandra Bullock, i vomited all my Twisties out half-way the movie and my mom got a shock and we left the cinema just in case i fainted inside! Just can’t stand those action pack movies, the camera just seems shaking here and there!

Marley and Me; Roxy and Me

March 27, 2009 - 11:21 pm No Comments

This show can really make a girl cry, specially if she has a dog that is so dear to here before or at present, your imagination will tend to go together with the owner of Marley. Didn’t know that the dog’s name, was derived from “Robert, Bob, Marley”! Haha… Breed= Labrador Retriever (Not Labra-doodle, like Sebastian said in the movie) A Dog lover would always know the breed names :)

Run, Marley Run!

Run, Marley Run!

While mine a Siberian Husky, we call her Roxy. She is almost like Marley in that show, just that she is better as we had some house training before, she listens and now a very well more obedient dog. I believe all dogs needs training and you need to be / act like a master, in order for your pet dog to obey you. They are really smart creatures and yes, a man’s best friend :D

Puppy curiosity

I would think that if Roxy is left alone, at the garage while she was a puppy, she would act the same like Marley, the whole garage turned down! Roxy eats almost everything, break my plant, makes Incredible Hulk’s shirt (copyright reserved; as there’s only one, haha) , newspapers, tissues like snow, slippers, socks, underwears, toothbrush, shaver, her own collar, best of all plastic bags! She Bites and Eats almost Everything! But still Marley beats her, since he had the whole answering machine swallowed without chewing according to “Owen Wilson” <–really funny guy :) Probably cos Marley is a He so more aggressive, can’t imagine if i had a Siberian husky male who is aggressive, they really mark their territory like Wolfs!

Although at times overly sentimental, Marley and Me is a sweet story of life with a dog. Like a child, Marley is sometimes unruly and tests their marriage, and also like a child sometimes is loving and sweet knowing just the right thing to do to make your heart melt.
