Halloween @ Dome?

October 31, 2008 - 11:26 pm 2 Comments

Indeed. This year Halloween falls on a Friday nite and every Halloween will be Jack’s birthday. Easy to remember? Just remember everyone is Celebrating! hehe ;) It was a long way alone from Pavillion to Etiqa building to look for Jack, should have listen to him and get down at the LRT, station of KLCC. Much nearer and since we’re having dinner @ KLCC anyway. And on the way to Etiqa building, i met this monster outside Planet Hollywood who was trying to scare people away from entering Planet Hollywood to give them business :P I gave a faint smile and he came over and gave me a scratch on my shoulders with his fake bleeding rubber gloved hand fingernails! Eee…”geli-nya aku”!!!!

what to eat?

Dome,KLCC

Actually I was unsure of the way to walk to his office if I were to stop in KLCC, hehe but now I know ;) It’s much nearer, just across the street!! And there’s a pathway underground where you can take if its raining. Its pretty convenient isn’t it ;) So there we are in Dome, KLCC. Nice setting, first time eating in that Restaurant actually, I had lunch before in the Express Dome Cafe in KLCC but not this.

And you know what, the best this is on the 31st is also Baskin Robbins’ discount day, but we were not in time to make it for so many goodies! :)

So here, the birthday boy choosing what to eat, cos this meal is on me!

This reminds me of Paris, because most of the places I had my dinners had all these beautiful crafted ceilings around.

This is what I always order in Dome, cos it’s really nice. Not too big a portion and it comes with steam vegetable! Balance diet :P We then had a slow walk by the KLCC park back to office, with the Twin Tower all light up and passing by Mandarin Oriental and the weather cooling for the night cos it rained earlier, was the best! :D Makes me feel as though I am overseas, haha, like that feeling *grin. Back to office, have a cup of fruit juice and we’re ready to go! Hope birthday boy  was having a good and happy time too!

Little Princess Chow-Chow

October 30, 2008 - 12:20 am 2 Comments

Yes, that’s her name with her breed :) A pure breed, really “chubbily” Fat! with black tongue :P Yes, pure breed of chow-chow has black tongue’s. Not sure why but when my bf saw it, he says “He is poisoned! Because the tongue is black” haha, but that’s not true, but very seldom does dog has black tongues.

It is the most expensive breed I have ever known so far in Malaysia, and I thought Husky’s with blue eyes were expensive and this cream chow-chow cost above RM5K. So, worth the photos, time spent and touching it.

She is 3 months old but she weighs like 10kg i think, her previous owner named her “KiKi” but aunty Emelyn decided to call her “Princess” even before she adopted her back home :) Her previous owner who owned “princess’s” father a champion breed was there to hand her over, can see from his face he will miss “kiki” very much, hugging her tightly for the “last” time.

Am i too fat?

Am i too fat?

I know! I'll go for some exercise!

I know! I will go do some exercise!

What I can say is that she’s really fat! Cos the owner feeds her with cheese, single craft cheese (what human eats) that makes her fur softer and smoother, like human hair conditioner, haha. She already has double-chin and few layers of spare tyres, but it’s really cute when she walks..cos very chubby. She doesn’t really like to be carried, because most ppl would not know the right way to carry her. For normal puppy, you may just carry from the 2 front legs but for chow-chow, you need another hand to support the 2 back legs, as if you’re carrying a baby :) Else when you carry only both the front legs with 1 hand, it’s too heavy and her 2 back legs will be kicking wobbly, can be a laughing stock though LOL.

Bangkok Dangerous?? or KL Dangerous??

October 29, 2008 - 1:13 am 2 Comments

For the first time, i took Star LRT and interchange at Hang Tuah to monorail to Pavillion, KL. This is because my Jack is working in the city centre. It was kinda late as I was stuck in a meeting till almost 7.45pm and reach the LRT bout 8pm already and my movie is at 8.25pm, I’ll definitely be late.

I feel like a foreigner taking the LRT, this is because after working and driving to work everyday, I’d barely taken public transport in Malaysia. Whereas, I took more of it when I’m overseas (don’t have a choice i guess). I asked the ticket counter which station should i stop just to confirm before getting in the station and when I went in, i was kinda lost haha, looking at the signs and wonder how come its the same and the beeping sound of a train coming and there was a LRT staff i manage to enquire which side should i be, cos it both state the same place. Haha, actually there’s only ONE, cos it’s the last station :P (Paiseh-nya) Didn’t make it for the first train, it went off :(

Then keeping myself alert of my surroundings tho’ i’m in a rush. Finally a train came, went in, was thinking to myself as there’s not many people (maybe I was late) Cos i heard after the fuel price increase, alot of ppl were taking the public transport. I counted there’s actually 9 stops before i reach my destination. At the 3rd/5th stop came a dodgy looking man, looking a me and another gal he sat beside and i was opposite of him, he keep looking at my direction and keep mumbling to himself. I just feel so uneasy and I try as much to avoid his eyes and I look to another direction. (I bet this is even scarier if it is like 10pm at night and there’s like less than 5 in a train)

Well, everything went well after that, met Jack and 2 of his colleagues at Pavillion, grab a quick bite and head into the cinema and looking forward for something interesting and thrilling and heck it was a cheap skate production of Nicolas Cage in Bangkok. Haha, I remember once Jack said, cos he will never step into Thailand, specially Bangkok, and I ask why? He explains “Just by the sound of it freaks him out “bang cock, bang cock” and i laughed. And back to the movie, well I nearly fell asleep, seriously! Was tired, and it was Not interesting at ALL!

As we walked back to his office to collect his laptop, there’s still so many people around, hanging out at the Boulevard of Pavillion, its so happening to work in KL, where you really experience all the late nite outs, fun, energy, the people, excitement and off course not to forget the challenges, stress and jams :) All I could say, is different! Was fun walking back and one of his colleague skip dinner and headed to KLCC for coffee and enjoy the nice weather. Hehe for him is nice cos over in Netherlands is always cold *grin* not for me, unless its a after rain weather, then the breeze would be nice to hang-out. Moreover it’s a Wednesday nite. My first visit to Jack’s office, it’s nice! Feels so IKEA-ish! Which is what I like..hehe, with all the goodies, coffee machine, hersey’s, fruits, fruit juices and many more.

One’s destiny is altered b’coz of the One decision

October 23, 2008 - 1:23 am No Comments

This was what is written in one of my ex-college mate’s nick in MSN and I was thinking to myself, what one decision, so serious that can alter one’s destiny? Then I thought and remembered, there is One and it only takes One decision in life to either make it or break it. You’ll either live with it happily or ruined it.

There are times in life, that you can only see the present and not able to look into the future, but we are aware every choice and every decision we make in life will have consequences. It will either face out immediately, or years to reveal to see true colors, side effects, etc.

I have seen people make impulsive decisions, decisions full of uncertainty. Where many of our decisions are influenced by our surroundings, the people we mix with, upbringing and even your loved ones. From the day you were born, your parents have made some decision for you, such as what milk powder to consume, which kindergarten to register you, primary then secondary school. For most of us who have already know what are their interest and what they want to do or courses that they would like to further their studies, then its again a decision you made and that may alter your destiny.

In society today, I have seen many relationships come and go, marriage is made so simple and with a snap of a finger you’re married. Well that works when you’re in “Cloud 9″ but after that when you see each others true colors, let’s pray that everything is going to be alright. Cos sometimes, love doesn’t really conquers all, things ain’t the way it seem to be. Well, thru movies you see happy endings but not all. Some get married, because the gf’s are pregnant and they have so call “no choice” but to take up the responsibility. But being a girl, I feel it is so helpless, when things are rush into it. Some have their ROM paper signed but no wedding ceremony yet, then 1 year down the line, they find they not suitable for each other anymore. That is when, the honeymoon period has passed, haha and they become enemies for life. That’s not all, your single life is Ruin. Thank God for those who do not have babies yet, else the innocent child will have to face either 1. Non-peaceful family 2. Divorce parents and things may get even more complicated if they re-marry and have their own kids and wow i’m thinking too far. (It’ll be something like “Gossip Girl” just that not in that Elite lifestyle) – just wondering, what would be their children’s ideal family like?

Well off course there are some who live happily, I would say among my circle of friends so far, it’s a 50-50 kinda thing. Let’s see what happen later on in life. I’ll surely blog bout this =)

Decisions, decisions, decisions, and yes, life is full of decisions :) Good day’ People!

No Wonder I grew fat :P

October 20, 2008 - 12:13 am 2 Comments

I just realized that I have accumulated LOTSA chocolates in my fridge, after adding some to it from my Langkawi trip, much cheaper and imported oversea chocolate (very important to make sure that milk ingredient is not from China) is simply irresistible to buy! Just when I was asked, “Do you want to have one Ferrero Rocher?” Then I bring out a box of 30s’ Ferrero Rocher, and just before I open it i collected all my chocolates out and place in on the table; wondering how much fat will it cause me if I just eat and sit without doing my workouts?

Don’t be surprise, That’s not all =)

All these have been accumulated through me and my mom’s many trips. Off course there are a number of it which have been consumed =) This reminds me of a chocolate shop in Paris, where it is located in one of the morning markets. Here’s a pic. i took from the out at the shop display :) chocolate display hehe. It is all homemade chocolates, comes in white, milk and off course dark chocolates :)

Actually chocolates has alot of usage other than being a mouth sweetener, it sometimes does stabilize the hormones specially for girls, we somehow crave for it during a period of the month and it also keeps you warm inside when you’re in cold weather! So i indulge and treat myself a 100gram of chocolate in that shop which cost Euro4.50 ~ RM20+ Where the lady just break pieces of chocolates from very BIG pieces of chocolates! where it was all stack-up arranging them by categories. She mixes all the 3 types for me. Guess what? Though it is summer in Paris, the chocolates does not melt and become sticky and stick to each other, cos though it is summer the weather is still very cooling say max 21 deg?
